Yesterday, we basked in glorious sunshine and 75-degree temperatures. Today was slightly less than glorious with rain and gusty winds. Tomorrow, we could see a bit of snow. It’s just your typical three-day stretch of spring weather in New England, and we’re enjoying every minute of it.
If you braved the elements today to make a few turns, you may have noticed that our snow coverage has taken a hit over the last 36 hours. Get up here tomorrow and you’ll find typical late-season conditions with thin cover in a number of places, with the occasional bare spot. We’re also expecting a big drop in temperatures overnight, so you should look for firm snow tomorrow instead of spring slush. Our awesome grooming team will be out on the hill working their magic as soon as temperatures cool tomorrow morning, so expect conditions to improve significantly as we move toward the weekend. The last day for skiing and riding this season is coming up this Sunday, so carve while you can!
Please note that South Peak and the West Basin (Kancamagus Quad, Kissin’ Cousin Double, Sarsaparilla Carpet) are now closed for the season.
2014/15 New England Passes are on sale now at the best prices! If you buy now, you can ski and ride free through the end of this season (when your pass is valid -- anytime or midweek)! Or, lock in the best prices for just $50 down/pass and pay the rest over the summer with the Easy Pay Plan.
The Superpipe is open and doing pretty well for so late in the season. Loon Mountain Park will remain closed Wednesday, but should reopen Thursday.
Ticket prices for Wednesday, April 15 are $59 for Adults, $49 for Teens, and $39 for Juniors and Seniors.
If you're looking for more deals on midweek tickets, you're in luck! For a limited time, you can purchase a single-day lift ticket valid on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday for only $42 for all ages! These specially-priced lift tickets must be purchased online at least one day in advance and are available in limited quantities for a limited time only. This deal may end at any time without notice, so take advantage of it!
This Sunday, April 20 is our Easter Sunrise Service! Load the gondola and ride to the top of Loon Peak for an inspriring, nondenominational service run Loon Mountain Ministry. After the service, enjoy refreshments at the Summit Café and first tracks down the mountain.
Kids can follow up their sunrise service with a bright-eyed and bushy-tailed egg hunt. Candy-filled eggs will be hidden at two different locations around the resort for kids to get their mitts on.
